A slide consists of sliding on a slide bar. The slide is done either with the board in the axis of the bar, or perpendicular, or more or less off-axis. You can slide with the board centered in relation to the bar (this is located approximately below the rider's feet), but also in nose slide, that is to say the front of the board on the bar .
